土耳其《沙巴日报》8月29日援引运输部门消息人士称，土耳其将把博斯普鲁斯海峡和达达尼尔海峡的通行费提高5倍，这将使土耳其每年的通行费收入从4000万美元增加到2亿美元。新费用标准将从10月7日开始实行。报道称，废除1983年实行的旧收费制度后，土耳其将摆脱39年来遭遇的“不公平”。
